In addition to executive travel, MELMIK AVIATION provides AIR AMBULANCE emergency flight services staffed by highly trained specialized flight physicians, respiratory therapists and registered nurses. Our aircraft are equipped with state of the art critical care and advanced life support equipment. MELMIK AVIATION has provided AIR AMBULANCE services to and from North-Central and South America and the Caribbean for the past 15 years serving governments, insurance companies, hospitals, corporations and private individuals.
Modern helicopters avoid this by using dampers on the blades and on the gear (shock absorbed struts). It is less prominent on wheeled helicopters although can occur. The emergency action is to lift the aircraft to a hover.
